I threw windows by the window with great pleasure after having used all versions since 3.1. I never had ANY issues with linux, be it hardware or software. Type the extensions on a save file name is nothing compared to never have supercrashes or BSOD.

To each moron their own windows, I guess.

I have a Linux computer, and suspend/resume works just fine.

In the old days, it didn't work, so check to make sure you have a modern kernel. Also, are you resuming the correct way? Embarrassingly, I didn't know that one had to press the power button on my computer to resume the session until only a few months ago.
